Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Payments

Consultants will arrange payments from the patient direct. This will be a separate arrangement outside the responsibility of Book a Consultant and Medicus Data Ltd.
Consultants are at liberty to choose their own fees and set these upon the site.

For advisory fees paid from Industry, we will ensure that once we are in receipt of the full amount, we will make a payment to the Consultant, within 30 days of receiving their invoice for the services they have provided. This amount will have automatically deducted our 20% administration fee, of the total amount charged.

Consultants will make a monthly payment of £25 using a Direct Debit. This amount will be collected using the payment system on our website. Their account will become 'live' upon success of the completed Mandate.

Cancellations

Should you wish to terminate your contract, we will require a written email from your registered email address, informing us of your cancellation. We will then cancel and remove your profile, on the 30 th day, to correlate with your final payment. We will then remove your profile from our website. Failure to make a payment will also result in the profile being removed from the site and the agreement being cancelled. Should you wish to re-instate your profile at any time, the new and up to date charges will be applied. Any loyalty discounts will be lost.

Upon successful cancellation and removal of the profile, all rights available through bookaconsultant.co.uk, will cease with immediate effect. The Consultant will cease all activities involved through bookaconsultant.co.uk. Activity on our website must cease when the account is terminated.

Industry will be required to complete their profile under the industry section and make their payment to access the consultant for advisory purposes, using the stripe payment system and making a one-off payment. Upon receipt of the FULL payment, we will advise the Consultant of the proposed appointment. This will then be liaised, and a date confirmed. Book a consultant will make a 20% charge incorporated within the fee charged by the consultant.

Refunds

Should a Consultant need to cancel, an alternative date MUST be set within a 28 day period, to ensure that the payment remains. Failure to comply with this will result in a full refund, minus our 20% original charge. Industry will receive their refund from Book a Consultant.

Should an Industry Representative need to cancel, they will need to advise the Consultant 48 hours prior to the appointment. An alternative date MUST be set within 28 days. There will be no further administration costs and no refund necessary. FAILURE FOR THE CONSULTANT TO COMPLY WITH THIS TIME SCALE, WILL RESULT IN A REFUND, LESS THE 20% ORIGINAL FEE FOR BOOK A CONSULTANT, BEING GIVEN. Failure for Industry to follow these set procedures will result in a missed appointment and NO REFUND.

Terms For Consultants

Should you fail to comply with our terms and conditions, we have the right, at any time to disable any user credentials. Should you suspect that any one other than yourself knows your login details, you must promptly notify us at bookaconsultant.co.uk

In relation to the profile content, all information submitted must be true and accurate. The Consultant must be qualified, insured and capable of the work described in the selected specialities. Failure to comply with these terms will result in instant removal of their Profile and cancellation of the agreement.

Failure to carry out appointments with industry, will require prompt action to rearrange a new time slot, within 28 days. Failure to do this will result in a full refund to industry, less our 20% original fee.

Terms For Industry

Industry must complete their profile under the industry section and make their payment to access the consultant for advisory purposes, using the stripe payment system.  Should Industry need to cancel their appointment, there will need to be notice of 48 hours, in order to re-arrange the appointment without further charges.   Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the loss of the appointment and no refund.

Failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in instant removal/access to the site.
